The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and Avoice Presents the 2015 Avoice Heritage Celebration

Avoice Heritage Celebration 2015

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) will commemorate Black History Month 2015 by hosting its sixth annual Avoice Heritage Celebration from 6:15 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., February 24th, at The Hamilton, 600 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.

The 2015 black history month theme “A Century of Black Life, History and Culture” highlights the significant contributions of African Americans in the United States and across the globe. The Avoice Heritage Celebration will honor two members of the CBC for their contributions to the legislative history of blacks in Congress, and a corporation for its commitment to cultivating minority civic engagement, public discourse on African-American history, and the preservation of important historic artifacts through philanthropic or programmatic support.
